Meeting Room Reservation Form

 

The Village of Flat Rock encourages citizens of Flat Rock to make use of the two meeting rooms in the Village Hall. At present, there is no charge for use of the rooms. Parties using the rooms must set them up for their specific need and must return the rooms to the configuration and condition in which the found the facilities. Volunteer Application Form

 

The Village of Flat Rock makes extensive use of volunteers in running the Village and making it a better place to live. If you would like to volunteer for service in the Village, please complete an application form and take it or mail it to the Village. Miscellaneous Expense Report Form

 

The Village reimburses employees and volunteers for expenses incurred working on behalf of the Village. An expense reimbursement or expense report form should be completed and submitted to the Village Clerk. Click here to download a copy of the miscellaneous expense report form. This form is used for purchases that you made on behalf of the Village and  need to be reimbursed for (receipt required) and any mileage incurred in acquiring the purchase.

 

Travel Expense Form

 

The Village reimburses employees and volunteers for expenses incurred working on behalf of the Village. An travel expense form or expense report form should be completed and submitted to the Village Clerk. Click here to download a copy of the travel expense form.  This form is used for travel that requires an overnight stay and reimbursement for meals.  The rate of reimbursement is based on the U. S. General Services Administrative data for per diem rates for the state of North Carolina, and the IRS mileage rate.  If you have any questions about these rates, please contact the Village office before completing  the form.

 

Sign Permit Application Form

Cooperative Agreement for Eradication or Control of Kudzu

1) Certificate of Zoning Compliance Permit

       Application form to build a structure or alter an existing structure within the Village of Flat Rock.

 

2) Application for a Variance

    Application to petition for the Board of Adjustment for a variance from the literal and specific provisions

    of the zoning ordinance.

 

3) Construction Form Not Requiring a Certificate of Zoning Compliance

       Application needed prior to obtaining a building permit from Henderson County in the event the proposed

       construction does NOT change the footprint or height of an existing structure.

 

 .4) Zoning District Confirmation Form

   Form needed prior to applying for a septic permit from Henderson County.

 

5) Conditional Use Permit Application

   Application to petition the Board of Adjustment to grant a conditional use permit as allowed by the zoning

   ordinance.

 

6) Subdivision Ordinance Variance Application

    Application to petition the Village Council for a variance from the literal and specific provision of the

    subdivision ordinance.

 

7) Application for a Special Use Permit

    Application to petition the Village Council to grant a special use permit where allowed by the zoning ordinance.

 

8) Application for Modification of a Special Use Permit

    Application to petition the Planning Board and Village Council to make specific modifications to a previously

    approved special use permit.

 

9) Rezoning Application

   Application to petition the Village Council to amend the official zoning map to make a designated change to the

   zoning district.

 

10) Appeal Application

     Application to appeal a ruling made by the zoning administrator or to request an interpretation of the zoning

     map or specific sections of the zoning or subdivision ordinance.
