The Park at Flat Rock (located at 55 Highland Golf Drive) is open from dawn to dusk year round. 

Remember that the N.C. Department of Transportation is working in the park, so portions of the park may be closed to the public at times. Please obey all construction zone instructions.

So that all may enjoy the park:

• This is a tobacco free park.
• Dogs must be on a leash at all times.
• Only authorized motor vehicles permitted beyond parking lot.
• Skates, roller blades and skateboards are not permitted.
• Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
• Portable charcoal grills and open fires are not permitted.

Interested in holding an event at the park? The Robert V. Staton Pavilion, the Perry N. Rudnick Community Room in the Welcome Center, and areas of the park itself can be reserved (click to view a park map).
