In the heart of Flat Rock you’ll find original artwork, gifts, crafts, antiques, and wonderful food.

Start with the shops on Little Rainbow Row located at the corner of NC 225 (Greenville Highway) and West Blue Ridge Road in the center of the Village. Named to pay homage to Flat Rock’s Charleston roots, Little Rainbow Row is hard to miss. The Wrinkled Egg, housed in the building fondly remembered as Peace’s Grocery (c. 1890) the community’s only general store until the early 1980s, forms the anchor for this collection of colorful shops.

Stroll the sidewalk, explore the shops, relax in the rocking chairs out front, then cross the street to explore the shops in Flat Rock Square. You can reach all of these in the village on foot.
